Wonderful small place, we did not want to leave.
The location was particularly good, just off autostrada, attractions in Verona and environment and Verona city centre, in a nice area. Also, Chievo Dam with bridge was 4 km away from the hotel.

A very warm and friendly welcoming by the staf. Room was perfect in size and disposition. Possibility to sit outside at a porch made it even more perfect. Helpful staf. Good breakfast. We had some dinners also and food was very tasteful and nicely arranged.

At first I was nervous about staying outside the city. After a day of sightseeing though, the peaceful views of the countryside were refreshing. The grounds are lovely and the peacocks are fun to watch. My friend and I enjoyed sharing a good bottle of wine on the veranda each evening to unwind. As I walked around the garden, the smells coming from the kitchen were mouthwatering. We enjoyed both the complimentary breakfast as well as the delicious dinner selections. Our room was large, clean and decorated much like a high scale b&B. The bus trip into town turned out to be easy with a stop in front of the hotel. Overall our stay was delightful and we added an extra night because we enjoyed it so much.
A car is almost a must with this hotel. The taxi from the station was high enough so that we stuck to the bus when we did not have bags. The buses back to the hotel are a bit confusing but we made it back with only one transfer.

It's a family run hotel and all the staff were really friendly and made us feel at home throughout our stay. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay at this friendly hotel and would love to go back.
The only thing I would say is that the peacocks crow sometimes in the night and early in the morning, If you are a light sleeper this may disturb you a little. Having said that, they are beautiful and made the stay more interesting and unique.

We absolutely adored Hotel Elefante! The second we arrived, we knew this was the right choice. The grounds were very spacious, charming and provided plenty of parking if you have a car. There were plenty of outdoor seating areas that were the perfect respite to enjoy a bottle of wine at the end of a busy day. Take a walk around the grounds too, it's worth it! They've got peacocks! The staff made us feel comfortable and helped us with anything we needed. It's family run and the pride they take in running the place shows. Our room was very comfortable and always clean. Big bathroom with full tub. Breakfast was always tasty, best cappuccino we had in Italy! Hotel Elefante runs a restaurant most days of the week as well. You'd be missing a wonderful and intimate dining experience if you didn't have at least one dinner there. During most nights, Jack manned the front desk and bar (which I believe is open all night!) I don't believe he was family but he nonetheless treated his job with the same care and respect as anyone else. He was also a fun guy to hang out with and get travel advice from. Speaking of the bar, they had a great selection of wine (mmmm, Secco Bertani!) Really can't say enough good about this place. Would book another stay if ever in Verona again.
Location was only a slight negative. This hotel lies several kilometers outside of Verona. Having a car works well when staying here. A bus stop is right outside the grounds and will take you into town. Otherwise, we had the front desk call a cab for us.

I had a nice stay at this hotel in Verona. the staff were polite and friendly, always there to assist. The rooms were well-furnished in cottage style, with enough room to park a car. I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere in the large garden, surrounded by shade and greenery. The swimming pool was a great addition.
Nothing to improve, everything was ok.
